Dr. Michael Rubin

Dr. Michael Rubin is a senior research analyst under contract for the U.S. Army’s Foreign Military Studies Office, Fort Leavenworth, KS, where he focuses on Iran. He previously worked as a lecturer in Iranian history at Yale University; Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC; and at three different universities in northern Iraq. Dr. Rubin has published nearly three thousand op-eds, several dozen academic and policy articles or book chapters, and a handful of books relating to the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. He is a graduate of Yale University where he received his B.S. in biology 1994 and his Ph.D. in history in 1999.
