Michael Rubin, Ph.D.

Dr. Michael Rubin provides analytical support for the U.S. Army’s Foreign Military Studies Office, Fort Leavenworth, KS, where he focuses on Iran.
He previously worked as a lecturer in Iranian history at Yale University, Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC, and at three different universities in northern Iraq. Dr. Rubin has published nearly three thousand op-eds, several dozen academic and policy articles or book chapters, and a handful of books relating to the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa.
He his received a Ph.D. in history and a B.A. in biology, both from Yale University.
